A 13th century fortress, once the home of the Chigi family it was used as a summer residence by Cardinal Fabio Chigi who later became Pope Alexander VII. Elegant yet warm and friendly with just 21 rooms, the hotel has been subject to careful restoration over a a number of years, and in 2003 Castello Leonina was returned to its previous glory.
